So, if you found it as annoying as I did that they moved the release date for V for Vendetta and ruined a perfectly fab tagline...here's my reaction.

Knowing the distributors in my country, they'll leave the tagline and the release date, but change the year to 2006 and claim it is the best option. Welcome to Central Europe, where Murphy's Law is nothing compared to the people in charge.

Not really. You don't have to live in fear that the distributor will decide that it would be better to show the film with dubbing than with subtitles. I'm still having nightmares about what they've done to Alan Rickman's voice in PoA. It was a truly traumatising experience. I shudder to think what they would do to "V" if given a chance.

Being a cinema fan here means living in a constant trauma. Or at least in fear of one. ;)

Oof. At least one can wait for the DVD and get whatever language we want. Sigh.
