Potential smut galore. Oh, I hope.

If you haven't seen, pornish_pixies is having a second wave of the Fantasy Fest. Theme of this is for everyone to make specific requests for a porny story they'd like to read--and, if you'll recall, I went a bit nuts with it last year. That month of writing was my major fanfic production for the year.

I'd really like to do it again. It's not the plotbunnies themselves. If it were just plotbunnies, I could browse fests and communities--or ask all of you to throw stuff at me whenever you got ideas--and I'd write buckets of fic constantly. Not that easy.

Instead, the Fantasy Fest gives me something I'm calling "Fairy Godmother Syndrome." It's not the plotbunnies, it's me seeing someone's name attached to the request, with more than just a "Here's a good idea" attached--it says, "Here is THE very story that I want to read, what will get me off, what I am baring my soul to all of you to admit that I want and want deep." And, oh, I want to give that to all of those brave, wonderful souls. I think, "Hey, I could write that; I could craft that, I could gift that." And that's so powerful.

It even overrides the conflict I have, frequently, with plotbunnies that strike but usually leave me thinking that they don't need a fandom universe to support them, and could be original stories. That's the reason I was able to write things for the last fic such as Luna/Cho corset BDSM, and Lily/Narcissa lactation smut, and Harry/Draco spanking porn--stories that did not necessarily need to have those characters, except that they DID, in order to have arousal power for the people who wanted them.

So far I have thirty-four of the requests on my raw list. ^_^ I won't try to claim even half of them--maybe much fewer. I might wait to see what else gets claimed first. But, god, you guys have such wonderfully lusty minds. I want to give you all PREZZIES!

Whatever you eventually decide to write, I can't wait to read it! And from what you say, you're not going to write just one or two stories but... much more! (I didn't know writers could claim more than one requests.) Feeling like a Fairy Godmother is just wonderful - I'm sure you'll make the recipients very happy.

Although I only discovered Pornish Pixies a few months ago, I've read most of last year's Fest fics. The Fantasy Fest is a great idea. To have so many people's fantasies fulfilled is just awesome.
