Okay, before I do [livejournal.com profile] mctabby's meme, how the heck should I define "least favorite" character? The character I hate because s/he's evil? The character I don't hate but just think is boring? The character that seems to be JKR's darling whom I can't for the life of me see why? The character who inspires no thoughts of hot monkey Potterverse lurve from me? How?

I would go, go for the character you feel least for, give the least thought to.
Coz though I hate Umbridge with every bone in my body, I like her because she brings such a strong reaction out of me.
Least favourite for me would probably be...Hagrid

I'd go with the character that would most make you puke if s/he touched your most favritest character in a sexual way.

Throw a dart. I picked Umbridge, but Fudge would have worked, or Vernon, or...

I had problems with that as well, because I doubt I dislike anyone more than Dumbledore, but he doesn't squick me nearly as much as Filch or Hagrid.

(you should come online more often, too!)

I always define "least favorite" in a book as the character you actually skip reading about ... as in "Oh gods, another paragraph about X, I'm gonna skip ahead a bit!"

This was my question! Umbridge makes my skin crawl, but I love reading about her. Still, I think the skin-crawliness, whether it's because you hate the character or the way s/he's drawn or their function or their sickly sweetness- I think that must be it. I don't think mere boredom could qualify.

I picked Fudge because someone had already picked Harry/Umbridge. :D I'd say go with [livejournal.com profile] musesfool's option because if a character's just boring to you, the meme won't even be fun.

I'd go for the character who inspires no feelings at all in you. I despise Umbridge but at least I can envisage Umbridge/? scenarios with a certain frisson, if only because any Umbridge scenario must surely be non-con. Or Polyjuice :)

For me it would be golden boy Colin Creevey, who has the Midas touch, only with boredom instead of gold. Whenever I see that angelic face and those little hands clutching a camera I feel the urge to drown him. But, hey, that's just me.

I picked Umbridge because I hate her with the fire of a thousand suns, but also because it's vaguely plausible. Otherwise I would have gone with Grawp. *snorts*

The least sexy, considering the nature of the meme, should be quite adequate.

The character which, when you see it star a smutfic, makes you think "why on earth would someone write a fic centered on that character?!". :-?

The one who love to hate, because they're so vile and/or idiot-minded?
