I keep wondering if I'm the only one who liked the film Queen of the Damned. I thought they did a good job sandwiching the key points of two books into one general audience-accessible film. Including what they did with Jesse.

"Join meee or DII-EEeeee" is right up there with "I'm ready for my closeup, Mr. DeMille" and "Wire hangers?!" as one of my all-time favorite film lines. Methinks I have a diva complex. So did Akasha, and look where it got her.

Ooohoohooh! Please? Vamp Chron fanfic is the only other kind I've ever read besides HP. :D (Although you know, A. Rice is adamantly against it and has 'people' that actively track it down online. grrr.)

I liked the movie too, for the most part. Very pretty eye candy. Soundtrack -- yes! Although the guy that played Armand looked like Leonardo DeCaprio's malformed twin. :P (He is my love, btw, in the books.) And there is no way they could put everything from the book in that movie, so I was somewhat satisfied. That particular book is my least favorite of that series, though. Still... at least they did not destroy it like they did Exit to Eden.

Movie. Oh. Yeah. They made a movie that was supposed to have something to do with the books. Right.

I hated "Interview with the Vampire" so much as a movie that I didn't bother with "Queen of the Damned." ALthough I'm almost tempted to find a DVD of Interview JUST for the Brad Pitt/Antonio Banderas kiss. Wooo, slashy goodness!

HP/Vampire Chronicles crossover. Hmmmm.

Oh, and wouldn't the Voldie/Twins art be a good Tarot Devil?
