But then, part of the fun of writing fanficiton is talking to others about the story while you write...and more than once, at least for me, a comment that someone made led the story I was writing in interesting new directions.
Readers notice stuff and they often let you see "your" characters with new eyes, which ends up making the story all better.
It's kind of a "damned if you do and damned if you don't" situation.
Selvig is SUCH a fangirl in this....no wonder Loki has trouble handling it *g*.
I keep wondering why Loki brings up that bit about Hawkeye missing Fury. After all, there is no doubt about the thrall's loyalty at that point. It's like kicking a puppy.
With the sunglasses....maybe it's not only that Clint is worried about meeting Loki eye to eye. Maybe it's also about being afraid that the other Avengers might see things in his eyey that he doesn't want them to notice....
