Thank you for that link–it was such a promising start! I do wish sometimes that writers would finish their stories and then upload them! The Kinkmeme fill link I posted was another case of really promising and then ... nothing. (I do like A03's "Mark for later" for that purpose though ...)
Although I did understand, from a director's point of view why the catacomb scene had to go, I also loved how much in sync Loki and Clint were (different than the awkward dialogue between Selvig and Loki for example, where you can see, that Selvig is totally into the cube and sort of into Loki but ... there is no real connection, only some sort of friendly bewilderment :D).
I adored that bit about Loki not forgetting how Clint had missed Nick (and also Maria Hill).
Yes, about the sunglasses scene I thought the same thing–he's too afraid to take them off and to meet Loki eye to eye–maybe also afraid of what Loki might still be capable of doing to him ...
