From the trailer, I wanted rather badly to see this film:

...and then I learned the one on the right is not a boy. Now I'm no longer interested.

Migod, could I get any more shallow.

I still want to see that movie anyway, not just because it's Swedish and about vampires, but because I was promised violence. Bloody, bloody violence.

Hee, you're comfortable with your genres!

(Why isn't Phoenix Wright a movie? Why do I have to PLAY it to get all the goody?)

... I'm not sure what you were referring to?

(I have no idea, but that would probably turn out better than all the Death Note fail. I think most people can figure out the cases right off the bat and I just played for the sweet lulz. Oh, Phoenix. I love how even a Nintendo game has porn. It gives me faith in humanity.)

Oh, I just meant you know what you like--bloody horror, all that. ^_^

I just can't make time for games--they'd take all my attention, and I'm anal about doing everything in order (had a total shit fit when the S.O. picked up one of my Crash Bandicoots and went on TO THE NEXT LEVEL WITHOUT MASTERING THE BONUS THINGIES ON THE FIRST LEVEL. I gave him all kinds of HOW CAN YOU DO THAT hell).

I'm a total sucker for B-horror/sci-fi buckets of blood flicks. Off the top of my head, Lady Frankenstein? Fucking genius. The tagline was: ONLY THE MONSTER SHE MADE COULD SATISFY HER STRANGE DESIRES! That's comedy gold waiting to happen.

Haha, I'm the same way. I don't want to BEAT the game, I want to COMPLETE it, and lord help the poor sod that fucks up my save. XD

*deepbreathes* Okay, getting off capslock to try to make some sense: are you a Mystery Science Theatre 3000 fan at all? Because I'm a HUGE one and ICW is a tribute group operating on the same principle--one of the very best ones out there IMHO. Follow that link and you can buy their mstied version of Lady Frankenstein! And Bloody Pit of Horror! (Their first, Bride of the Gorilla, is not available right at the moment because they're reprinting it in a new edition.) Comedy GOLD.

Homg, hell yes, I love MST3K! When I clicked the URL the INTENSE graphics and yellow font blinded me and I didn't bother trying to make sense of what the HELL it actually was (bringing back some caps). I'll definitely look into ICW now, cheers.

They're really good quality--production values and humor and all. Their riffs come at a super-fast clip; people notice it but I haven't heard anyone complain about it. ^_^ Go here (http://www.icwxp.com/videos/lady.html) and watch the first 10 mins of Lady Frankenstein!
