Dear Amazon.com:

Do not give me this "we're still waiting for this item" bulls**t. You are AMAZON.COM. You put my local f.y.e. out of business. So cough up my DVD order of Code Geass Part 3, for WHICH I PAID EXTRA SHIPPING SO I'D GET IT THE DAY IT WAS RELEASED, and shut up with the excuses. I aim my "Lelouch Vi Britannia commands you!" sound drop in your general direction, you crudheads.

*flashes rude gesture*

*hits sound drop again 'cos it's fun*

Amazon promised my husband a copy of the letters of Nancy Mitford and Evelyn Waugh, even though I told him it was out of print. And they sent him an email two weeks later saying, "Oops. We can't get it after all." Having got my hopes up. Bastards.

If you happen to see a copy of the letters of Evelyn Waugh and Nancy Mitford (ed. Charlotte Mosley) -- the one that went out of print about ten years ago! -- do please pick me up a copy, and will be sure to pay you back.

When I went home for LeLouch's sake
(Buy the new Code Geass DVD!),
Amazon dot com said it would take
Just a few days for my DVD,
Till the mailman brought my DVD --

And I've been waiting with bated breath,
An Amazon prisoner since the death
Of my local F.Y.E.,
My boarded-up F.Y.E.,
And I've lost patience at Amazon's gall
And I've lost sleep and, worst of all,
I've lost Lelouch!

(many apologies to Rudyard Kipling ["Rimini"]

I'd be sooo frustrated! *sympathises*

Out of curiosity, is this an English speaking edition? I watched the first season in both languages (because the subs font was awful and hard to read, so I found a dubbed version as well) but the second season only in Japanese. I loved Lelouch's Japanese voice.

The U.S. edition has both the English dubs AND subs, so, you get your choice! I watched the subs first, then gave the dubs a check and found they're not bad, though I agree with you, Jun Fukuyama is unmatched. Though I actually prefer Lloyd's English voice! (He's about the only one, though.)

I love your icon! Suzalulu, sigh!

[livejournal.com profile] moshesque made it. I love her icons.

And silly me, I forgot DVDs usually come with language options! *headdesk* I liked the dubs just fine, too, (and I agree about Lloyd as well), but I'd prefer the Japanese version any day just to hear that Lelouch's deeper, much sexier voice. *g*

I hope you don't have to wait much longer for your DVDs!

If I do have to wait, I have the avis sittin' right here, so it's not like I can't watch them at all. But POOH, I WANT MY PRETTY DVD PACKAGE.

But I hope you get your DVDs soon <3

I'm guessing there was a release problem, probably with some of the extras. Bah, I say, bah.

Does Amazon ever deliver things when they say they're going to?

When I ordered Beetle the Bard, I paid extra for next day delivery. Not only did they not refund my money when they subsequently announced that everyone who ordered it would get day of release delivery, I ended up getting it four days late. Assholes.

And I've been hearing tons of Amazon delivery complaints on the flist lately.

Yeah, if it doesn't come within the next few days, I'm canceling the extra pay for two-day delivery and letting it come where it may.

There's one brewing! Don't go beat anyone up; I at least have behind-the-scenes fic coming, maybe sorta. :D

OMG LELOUCH!!!!!

I NEED Lelouch fic, do you know that? Because I was a shaking wreck after I saw the very last episode of the series and I hate hate HATE Suzaku with the fire of a thousand suns and I am IN DENIAL about THAT ENDING.

(schnoogles you) Damn, the boy Lelouch has us all catering to his every whim, doesn't he?

(has a strange urge to write Lelouch drabbles but must stop self....)

Without giving anything away to drive-by readers, I actually love Suzaku for that ending; it's so so so so SO TRAGIC and I can't help but be in Suzaku's head to wallow in the angst. Wallow wallow wallow SOB.

Write Lelouch drabbles! I'll read 'em!
