Halloween Pumpkins 2008

So, here are the halloween pumpkins I carved for this year. And this year, I made the patterns myself:





This is the picture I began with for the faces:



Then, armed with suggestions from a tutorial website, all I did was stick it into Photoshop Elements, remove the saturation completely to make it black and white, and then I began playing with the Brightness and the Contrast settings until I got this:



And then I printed it and played about with a black ink pen for a bit.

Ooh, if you do, I would love to see them! I'm really impressed by those who can do the complicated ones; I don't think I would have the patience to do the ones with the shading and stuff.
