Did see OotP again, haven't finished my review, still very tired. Not abandoning my flist just yet, despite my wish to avoid DH spoilers. So far all spoiler cuts have been well marked and I have a pretty good track record of ignoring temptation when it's contrary to what I want. Now I just have to be lucky. *crosses fingers*

I cannot wait to have my hands on this book. Damn, that feels good to say that.

Watch the random communities .. and you might even want to stay clear of communities altogether. We just had some HORRIFIC spoilers thrown up for everyone to see at icons. No cut or anything, AND, she was using the worst of them as a default icon.

How horrible! Thankfully spoiler-cuts all where I went, but why mention anything yet anyway? Can't they just wait half a week longer? +sighs+ Seems Mugglenet's the only safe place right now...

And isn't OotP a marvelous movie in the male's department? Don't know what makes me grin broader - the developing boys or the grown-ups. ^^ But of course, Lucius in his full-villain mode is just too delicious!

There was an anonymous comment in my lj that linked to a horrible visual/audio spoiler page. Happily I knew better than to click it (it looked really suspicious) until after I'd finished the book.

I'm taking my flist off bookmarks on the 20th until after I read it - and I'm #1215 on the waiting list.

It's not as bad as it sounds - I know from experience that the waiting list goes down FAST on new HP books because people get impatient and buy them. Plus my local library is ordering 450 copies, so not a huge wait. But still, I don't want to know before I discover for myself.

And I've set up firefox not to load pics - so the only spoilers I COULD see would be text.

I'm so glad you're continuing to post, as a lot of what I'm seeing on LJ seems to be about DH from those who have already read the PDF, and it's disheartening even when not spoiling. And it's made me want the physical copy in my hands, too, which is awesome. So thanks! :D
