You know what I think about the possibility of JKR working with Disney on a possible theme park? (Besides "SQUEEEE," I mean.)

I think it adds more probability to the likelihood that Harry will not die in Book 7.

Think about it.

And Hermione's all "where do you go at night, Ron?"

"Nowhere!"

"What about the marks?!"

"Th-those are old scars! From the attack on the Ministry with the prophecy and everything!"

"I know new scars when I see them, Ron!" Hemione cries. "You're cheating on me!"

"I'm not!" says Ron.

"You're cheating on me," Hermione wails, "WITH HARRY'S BRAAAAIIINNNN!"

And then he kills Hermione and puts Harry's brain into her body OMG!

Hell, an HP theme park anywhere would be AWESOME, wouldn't it?

But having it in Edinburgh would give me yet ANOTHER reason to return to the wonderfullness that is that city, heee! I love that place!

OMG! A Quidditch ride!! *dies over and over at the possibility*

But I want to keep that possibility of Harry dying in my head, to make Book 7 more fun. Though, really, after the fanfic, Snape and Draco have become more sympathetic characters to me than any of the "good guys."

You know, it's true. Now, granted, I'm looking for more fanfic about Snape and Draco than I am about Ron and Neville, so, I may be creating my own bias.

Wellll.... could be neat. The Magical ride of Death. You start by getting on an animatronic threstral which takes you out of the forbidden forest while centaur arrows whizz by overhead. Then, through a curtain to the Death Eaters of the Quidditch Match section, where you watch general Death Eater mayhem but, you know, in a delightful way. Then, another curtain, into the wind tunnel which simulates the Dementors sucking out your soul. Finally, another curtain and then a flash of green light and you go on the Roller Coaster off the Astronomy Tower big finish.

Plus there's things like the train ride into the park that is accosted by Dementors who put on a little show and pretend to steal your purses and things but it's fake so it's fun, ya know? Then you could have the Cedric Diggory was a Wimp challenge where you test people's reaction time by yelling "kill the spare!" and seeing if they can defend themselves in time.

Then everyone meets in the auditorium for, of course, the Harry Potter and the Musical of Doom with Kretcher and Dobby singing "I'm just a poor boy" and capped off by a Voldemort/Harry dance off.

I'd go there.

Perfect icon by the way.

You're forgetting Snape, backed up by Fenrir Grayback and Draco Malfoy, singing "Man of Constant Sorrow" while Lupin and Flitwick play kazoos.

LOL

Breaking news!

In a stunning news bulletin, it has been announced that JK Rowling has indeed decided to make a theme park and has hired livejoural slash fans to do all the ride and event planning.

p.s. don't forget the stuff for adults. Like the all night bars where you just might run into Professor Trelawney.

*tries not to get hopes up* Oooh, I've been hoping that JKR won't kill Harry for the sake of pure capitalism if nothing else since the end of OotP.

Though if Potterland is in Europe I'll never get to see it. *cries* But I'd be happy if that meant my Harry lives to fight on!

Of course, if she stripped him of his magic, or somehow he forgot about everything in the magical world, that would be worse than killing him off. And from a literary standpoint, it probably will feel like a bit of a cheat if the hero cycle isn't resolved properly.

I'd like to say I trust JKR, but then again... *sporks all the Ginny passages in HBP*

Yeah, I kept saying I trusted JKR, and then HBP came along and its forty tons of pensieve exposition and its "teen romance," gah.

For some reason I've always been positive that Harry won't die in Book 7. Watch me be shocked when the book comes out and Harry does die. Wait, no, I'd rather keep being positive. *g*

He's going to die for a minute - facing certain death for noble, significant blah, blah, blah... - but be brought back by Ginny (to make them even going into their marraige) and the power of twue wuv.

Basically, watch the season one finale of Buffy and you've got it.
