Okay, as a follow-up to my last post about ithurtsmybrain,: I think this calls for a poll.

Which of these would you guys actually go look at, if I wrote them (and they were at least a little smutty)?

(Yes, I know, I always preach, "Write for yourself." Today I'm curious. My prerogative.)

First, thanks for talking about the community! I had no idea it existed, and I've found a few pairings that I'll really get a kick out of! (and yes, I don't see the point of doing such a challenge if people don't have to write romance. That's where the squicks always come from, after all!)

Second, honestly, I'd read anything you wrote, because you're an awesome writer. Too bad for most of the pairings you chose there is always one half that I don't know anything about.

Really, the only one I wouldn't read would be Rory/Will, because ohmygod, it sounds sinfully boring. *laughs*

I think the value of something like IHMB is that it suggests novel plots and devices, because you look at a pairing and you think, ok, how can I make this work?

Although I am kind of curious about the Ariel/Blackthorne one, aptly-made sushi warnings aside.

I love the idea of these being done as intense dramas, rather than comedies. But Isis's recent one is the only one I really know, I guess, so I don't know if that's against the grain for the ihmb idea.

Bottom line: you write it, we will read it!

731. Okay, who would be the real drama queen in this pairing? Chairman Kaga is totally hot, and Ra's has been hot for millenia, so it would be like:

I have to admit that I picked the only two pairings where I actually know who the heck both of the people are. :P My main problem with the vast majority of the pairings/trios in this challenge (I went over and skimmed the first screen or so of the list) is that I don't watch much TV and there are a lot of popular movies I haven't seen, so....

That said, though, I'll at least try just about anything you write.
