hbp_chapters Reminder

With one day and some change to go, I'd just like to remind people about hbp_chapters, created for those of us who want to stop at chapter intervals and babble about what's happened so far in the book. To reiterate, you can read any of the posts and comments there that you like, anytime, but should not comment on a chapter's post if you have read further than that chapter--this is to avoid spoilers for those who aren't any further in the book.

Please note that if you look at the main page of hbp_chapters right now, you will see one thing there that very strict purists might consider spoilery: the number of chapters in HBP. I have deleted the extra posts as a source has told me the number.

(Note that the chapter titles aren't listed on the posts and they won't be. I remember how annoyed I was when my eye fell on the name of the last chapter in OotP as I was fumbling past the title pages to the first page of the story. Wouldn't do that to anyone!)

I'm really sorry but I think I'll comment in some days, because I have an exam on the 20th and I won't have the time to start reading, then I'm leaving for holiday and I won't be using my pc...uff ;_;! I'll participate in a more active way at the end of August >_

Yes, I did! I thought it was a good idea; won't prevent spoilers but will at least make people own up to them. And maybe be more careful. ^_^

Yes! Though I feel all dreadful because I still have Starry Night open waiting for the comments I promised you. Send me anything you like! And I will do my best to get working on Starry Night in the post-HBP frenzy.

And: someone on my flist has posted the text of chapter 1. Can I go comment about it yet, or do I need to wait for the official release?

I would say if you've read it, go for it! Anyone who clicks on that post should be prepared for what they see, so, yeah. I wonder if I should ask you for the link or if I should hold out? Reading chapter one isn't exactly spoilery, to me, since it's going in order--the question is whether I'll be able to bear the delay between reading it and getting the next chapter.

Yeah, exactly the way I felt - it's not a spoiler to see chapter 1 in its entirety (mostly - there are a few missing words). If you want to see it, both titti and mctabby have posted it under flock.

It did not end in such a way that I can not bear the delay - take that as you will.

Too many negatives in that sentence! Did not--can not--wait, I think I get it! Heh. I'll probably wait. Besides, I should live up to my "No WIPs!" philosophy. ^_^
