cluegirl--whom I love dearly, or I couldn't tease her like this--had the audacity to write Sirius/Harry and state that she believes only three people will read it--me, nimori, and waccawheels, because, she says, "Sirry isn't that popular."

I think we should all flood her lj and tell her she's wrong, don't you?

Have just visited it because of your post and it's AWESOME. And it's not the first Sirius/Harry I read. I like the pairing a lot. Scratch that, I just like Harry with most of the adult males in HP fandom. *smirks*

Yes! I do too--cross-gen Harry fic in general appeals to me. In fact I think the only same-aged male I care to pair Harry with is Draco.

She's clearly deluded. But unfortunately -- not alone. The current issue of WIRED has an article on fanfic which mentions Sirius Black as a "minor character in the Harry Potter books". And I'm saying-- minor? wtf? But I guess he is... in some universe. Not mine...

It's all context, isn't it? ^_^ It's like in the way I like Harry/Draco, but am not really interested in reading Draco paired with anyone else. Either Harry gets him or he's not interesting enough to me, hee.
