No, no deaths of readers! Bad thing, wah! But I can pretend that killing people with fic is my goal and that'll get me going if I bog down. "I must be the first slashgirl to actually kill readers with fic! Go, go!"

Oh dear! Poor Harry! I have never read anything like that before! It was awful! I mean awful in a good way! I love your work.

And I did NOT see that ending coming. I figured oh Lupin is going to rescue him and the twins are going to come to their senses and feel awful! But NOOOOOOOOOOOOO..... you're an evil one. :)

Oh, you're delighting me. Of course it was going to be an evil ending! ^_^ Because non-con kink's like that for me. Thank you so very much!

Good God. How wonderfully horrifying. I didn't see the ending coming, and it smacked me upside my head, just like an O. Henry story. Thanks so much!

You're terrific. Thank YOU! I had a lot of fun with the ending.

I really like all your stories and I absolutely loved this one. The way things start out so normal and how quickly it all goes wrong is chilling. The POV is great, Harry is trussed up and can't see what's happening to him but he can definitely feel and hear; the utter helplessness made me shudder. At the point where Harry realizes that the pink goo is responsible is unremarkable except for the huge implication that he has no one to really blame for this assault. It also brings up the possibility that anyone would be turned into a sexual aggressor: if Fred had gotten splattered, maybe Harry would be the rapist along with George.

And good lord, the ending! Remus the Rescuer is anything but. The end of the story comes just at the right spot to make Harry's misery seem unrelenting and stretching into the coming days and weeks. Will someone come looking for Remus just like he came looking for Harry? Poor Harry better hope not.

Whee, thank you for this lovely analysis! Sometimes you don't plan the POV at all--you just start writing and look back after a paragraph and say, "Oh. I guess it must need to go like that, then." And the ending is designed to let the reader decide how long Harry's misery went on--as long or as little as the reader needs. But you know this! Thank you so much!

You are wonderfully evil, you really are. I screamed when Remus turned up (no, really - out loud and it was about 2am by then ;-)) because I couldn't believe you'd have him rescued, I was just too thick to work out what you were going to do *g*

Heaven. Put me in the 'may not survive August, death by smut' camp. Mmm.

Eee, you kill me! 'S wonderful! And oh, I'm so giggly that the prospect of Harry-rescue had you saying, "No way!" (Live, darn you, live!)

What a terrible ending, after all that evil exploitation! Poor Harry! *settles back to imagine what horrors occur next* I couldn't help feeling the twins didn't really need the help of a screwed-up experimental potion to get into this; they seem to be naturals.

Eep! You make me giggle mightily. Yeah, they were a little skillful at this, weren't they?

None of those things happened. Instead, George slipped his tongue inside Harry's mouth.

That was the single most scary line in the fic, and it grossed me out like no arse-rape ever has. It's the intimacy gone wrong, I think.

But gods, a twin in each end! One of the only times I have ever liked this pairing.

Ooh, I'm so glad that line had such an impact! I was hoping it would be the "oh, MAN" moment, whether good or bad!

From: [identity profile] soawen.livejournal.com
Oh, it was. I know it seems a little easy to pick that line - point of no return and all, but it did hit me the most.

Good God! I really don't know what to say about this story other than I have never been afraid of Lupin until I read this fic. I mean usually he's portrayed as the universal good guy but when I read the last line I swear my stomach turned.

Poor Lupin, it's not his fault! (Not that he'll see it that way when the stuff wears off, no.) 'S exactly why he was the one to show up.
