To all the lovely people who have commented in my lj (or sent emails) in the last few days, I'm sorry I haven't replied yet! I'm getting there, I promise. And you can blame [livejournal.com profile] mctabby for further delay by posting another Summary Executions (Number XVIII). Pants-wettingly hysterical as always. And so were everyone's MSTies of 'em! Man, it's getting hard to stay funny among this crowd. ^_^

Dude! Who's the artist of that icon of yours?!?! *marvels adoringly*

You know, I don't know! And that's tragic! I glommed the icon off someone here on lj and I don't even remember who that was either. Am SO scatterbrained! It'll get me in trouble one day.

I think it's be okay you cute absent-minded hottie, you. I just hope it's not the elusive 'X's work, since she was a photorealist artist who took all her work down after misuse of her art. She tookher Snape/Harry artwork down before I ever saw it, so I wouldn't recognize it. Ah well.

It's such a good picture! And the caption, eeheehehe!

I am FAIRLY sure it is not X's work. From what I saw of X's HP gallery this was not in it...which I know is no guarantee but it also doesn't look quite like the same style. You're right, if I recognized it as X's I'd know that would trigger the "please DON'T do that" badness and wouldn'ta used it.

(having said that, if I'm using something that upsets ANYONE for using w/o permission, a "Please stop" is all I need. And I'll turn into the Amazing Contrite Woman like you wouldn't believe.)

Oohhh good! Excellent Because I wouldn't want my object d'amore to get in any trouble from offended artists. *shields you*

Oooh, you saw her gallery? Was it nice? It's like, stuff legends are made of for a relative HP newbie like me. *G*

Look out! Beware! It's Amazing Contrite Woman! ph33r her apologetic demeanour! Cower under her gentle voice and mature reactions! *rolls on floor and paws your legs*

One day, I wanna see you get mad. I think peeved!amanuensis would be hot.

I only saw a few HP pictures in X's gallery--but apparently that was enough for people to go hog-wild. I have that beautiful one of Snape pulling off Harry's glasses and will be thrilled to share it via email if you like! Knowing, ahem, that you'd use it for private viewing only, 'n' all. ^_^

X's stuff is really impressive but then, so is yours! You are in good company in hp-legend-ville. You DO know that, yes?

(And one day I'll post some really pissed-off post and someone can come by and say, "Aww, you're kinda cute when you're mad." That'll be fun!)

I know nothing! *capers foolishly*

(Yes, precious, I'dlove to see it! I love knowing people with mad connections, thank you! We can have our own private showing, hhehehe *gropes you*)

Would have written something soothing that would make you feel like you had lots of time, but well ... the summaries got in the way and now I can't remember what I would have said.

*insert whatever you would like to hear here*

Sometimes I feel bad for mocking them. I mean, it's not a very nice thing to do, kicking someone all ready down?

Who am I kidding? We're at least half Slyths here! *mocksmocksmocks*

I'm being very Gryffindorish! I'm knocking the writing, not the writers. (Except when it's really really deserved, hee.)

Completely off-topic, but...

Happy Christmas Amanuensis! (It is now Dec 25th here in Britain, so I thought I'd say it because that annoying festive spamming bug has taken hold of me and won't let go).

Hope you get all you wish for. *offers up a chocolate coated, life sized, living 'Lucius-and-Harry-in-a-wholly-non-consensual-situation' clone* - which, if you don't want, I'd happily take off of your hands.

A festive hug from one of your lj ghosts, Mosh x

Harry, Draco, angst, character death. Slightly late, sorry. Busy night *g* Hope you had a wonderful Christmas ^_^

"Avada Kedavra!" The beam of light from Harry's wand struck Voldemort squarely in the chest, and he dropped to the ground, changing as he fell.

Changing? Harry blinked, and the world seemed to slow, the sounds of battle faded as he realised who 'Voldemort' was changing into. He didn't realise he'd moved until he was standing over the body, looking down at near-white hair and sharp features, still and oddly peaceful. "Draco."

"Your lover betrayed you, Harry, and died for me. Wouldn't you like to join him?"

Harry turned to face the real Voldemort, raising his wand again.

"Avada Kedavra!"

!!!!!

See, that's why I love angsty awful character death in drabbles. It's wonderfully painful and tear-jerking, and it's SHORT! Can have all the emotion but deal with it quickly. Thank you thank you thank you SO much!!!
