Someone to fangirl with.....I must've died and gone to heaven. ^_^
Catching that arrow? There's just SO much satisfaction in that smile, such a smugness....a cat that got the cream AND the mouse could hardly match it.
Didn't know Croik's "But don't say "Ah""....but what can I say? Google is a wonderous tool indeed (and I've been writing to much Loki lately....it's beginning to affect my speech pattersn....o_O)
Love the smirk Hawkeye give Loki in the end...but also notice how he doesn't take off his sunglasses? Like he's afraid that his eyes might betray things that he rather wouldn't have others....wouldn't have LOKI see.
And then there's the deleted scenes in the catacombs and again you get that feeling of them operating as a perfect team, falling into a smooth pattern where they match each other's rhythm? SO perfect....and yet edgy, when Loki pushes his thrall, reminding him of a moment where Hawkeye was still fighting for the other side?
The way that questioning his loyalty hits Hawkeye hard enough to stop him in his tracks?
Also, have you read "Penance"? Looks like it will be an eternally unfinished WIP, but oh, the bits it HAS are....almost too perfect for words.
