Another hilarious thing is this happened in HP fandom too--I had just started writing and found Cassie Claire's fiction and was all, "OMG why am I even trying to do this whyyyyyy." But the compulsion is just too great, so, ya pick yourself up and keep going. Sobbing a little, but ya do. :D
