Dan really did pull off the funny. All those little aside "ding!" grins of his were great and in contrast, the moment when he wheels out behind an upper-up's desk, genuinely astounded that one of his schemes worked THAT well, THAT fast, with his mouth open in shocked glee, brought down the house.
