Because my local public library files manga in age-appropriate sections, and has its own section for graphic novels, and tags titles with the first three letters of the name--why, yes, I do find it entertaining that the manga of xxxHolic is labeled on its spine with GRAPHIC TEEN XXX, why do you ask.

Hee. xxxHolic is awesome — you definitely have to read flacedice's Supernatural Entanglements now, if you haven't already. I haven't actually read most of the manga, but that's because my library doesn't have it and I'm too busy with other stuff to download & read it that way.

I can't figure out if they edited lines from our school version. I remember the line about "I'm taking my wife back to bed" as "My wife and I will be very busy." It's possible my brain filled that in because I didn't get what they meant, but I dunno!

I think you will find this amusing... I was at a dollar movie theatre today to watch something (Hellboy 2 it turned out to be), and one of the inside adverts was for a special two day only showing of Death Note 2, some live action movie.

I immediately thought of you.
