Beta-begging time.

pornish_pixies, and would love to find some beta testers who have the time and interest.

shaggirl, you volunteered, I don't know if you're around and/or up for this one-- you and/or anyone else? About 3500 words.
(And note very bene: if you've beta'd for me in the past and are wondering why I'm not just emailing you instead of soliciting openly on lj, I am, simply, shy about going back to people who have done such marvelous service for me in the past and asking them to keep making the effort AGAIN, as if they have nothing better to do with their time. To everyone who's ever beta'd for me: you are all fabulous and I would be overwhelmed with gratitude if you offered for this or any future story, truly. Fabula, Isis, Nim, Clue, Flora, Gwen, Shaggirl, Skuf, alla you--you know who you are. It's just that I'm nervous about looking as though I've got Entitlement Syndrome.)
