More on beta etiquette and usefulness...

Wrote tiny drabble for the 100-words Mirror Of Erised challenge. Dark. Liked it.
Suddenly realized it wasn't quite... right. I realized that the MoE doesn't usually show you an evil interp of how to get your heart's desire, one that will sicken you.
Sent it to beta. Beta said, "Dark. Cool. Written really well. Um... I don't think Mirror of Erised works like that."
I said, "Thank you!" And put the drabble away. Didn't post. Perhaps I'll rework it, perhaps forget it. But I NEEDED that. Someone who can tell me, "No. The whole thing does not work." While not crushing me utterly.
