Just finished episode 18 of Death Note. Okay, every time this show has started to go in a a direction that made me say, "Oh, no--no, don't go there--don't let this be--" it one-eighties by the end of the episode and I'm all "Oh, JOY, thank you." And here I am at this point, and I'm trying to remember that the series hasn't failed me yet. It'll all one-eighty again...soon, right? She'll hold together. Hear me, baby? Hold together!

This is the first anime I've watched at this rate. Even the shows I like, I took my time until I got to, oh, maybe the last six-plus episodes (whenever it was they ramped up and made me say, "What, WHAT?"). Yeah, this is a privilege. Especially as I was going, "What, WHAT?" during the first ep! ^_^ I will squee with you when I'm done!

I think I know what you’re talking about. But I’m not sure, because I haven’t watched the anime, I just started the manga and didn’t even finished yet. So, uh. If it is what I think it is - and I think it is - come back here and tell me if it turned out ok. I’m still trying to decide if I should watch the series or not. So, yeah. A lot of things depend on your answer. Remember, you have a great responsibility. Be strong.

I'll say this: Yeah, for me, it turned out okay. I just finished ep 26, which is kind of like the end of Part One of the series. And I effing LOVED it. If you want to send me an email and ask more specific questions I'm glad to answer, based on what I've seen so far!
