I don't know why I checked this entry when I haven't seen the series, but it was completely worth it just to see your icon. Is it bad that I knew, without a second glance, that that was Raito-kun and L? Also, where did it come from? Because judging from Raito's expression, it kind of looks like that's seme!L, which makes me squee quite a bit, because Raito-kun, despite his very dominant personality, simply needs to bottom more often. Especially for Mello. Damn canon for making that pairing next to impossible! XD

My icons were made for me by the amazing and wonderful haloradio, who posts at dearest. I'm pretty sure it'd be from a doujinshi, but I've no idea which one. Still, Death Note is the most amazing series ever. I completely agree that Raito needs to bottom - I think darkeyedwolf had some hilarious fics with uke!Raito. Anyway, thanks! :D

IT IS! There was so much long, drawn-out "all our attempts at kisses will be interrupted" teasing, but the payoff was great. I had CHILLS in episode 25 at one point and was actually teary at the climax of the last episode. And the character development of the "nasty" characters was delightful!

I believe I watched the first few eps and downloaded the whole thing to watch later and haven't gotten around to it.

Hey, if you EVER need anime recommendations, I can honestly say I'm somewhat of an expert, I'm always up to date on the latest stuff, and I have a really good repertoire.

Now I'll have to watch SP just to comment on it to you!

Well, if you are looking for stuff that is gay in nature, I can definitly direct you to a few that are good. I also have a decent collection of manga (both straight and gay).

Fearless was a short but nice anime, not very graphic, but pretty to look at.

Gakuen Heaven is another good slashy (mind you, I don't have very many that are sexually explicit, most are just love stories)

Gravitation is very popular (I liked it as well)

Very Private Lesson

Kizuna is a classic

Haru wo Daiteita

One that wasn't completed and was somewhat incestuous is: Pappa To Kiss In the Dark

Ring Around Your Finger is another one (that ones based on a manga)

Tell me if you want straight good anime as well...have TONS of that

I'm keen on yaoi and yuri anime, and I'm probably more interested in the ones which aren't too explicit to start. I've never watched the "hard" stuff and I don't know if I'd like it or if it'd be too much.

Well, Ai no Kusbai is about as explicit as they get. It's annoying, but the Japanese NEVER actually SHOW you the details. Lots of implications of it, but they blot it out. Or my favorite, you'll see the hand 'around' something, liquid squirting from it, or leeking all around it, but you don't actually get to SEE the organ!! It's crazy how they do that.

Most of the stuff you are going to find you'd have to buy anyways, it's hard to find stuff to just download. I know I have a few more titles that I want to mention to you, but I have to search through my lists.

Oh, if you are interested in Yuri as well as Yaoi, Mai Otomi is a good story, not that much romance really. There's a good anime that just finished a bit ago called Claymore. It's not actually yuri, but the implication is very strong, if nothing else, it's a somewhat impressive anime that has much blood and gore. Definitly open for a second season.

There's so much I don't even know where to start with it all. I've been downloading anime consistently for about 6 years now and I must have over 1 TB easily of the stuff. It's hard to remember all the titles...hehe

Ooh, seconding the rec for Papa! I watched it a while ago and read the first novel in the series (which is the one the anime is based on) and adore it!
