Oh, bah. Stifle those squees--they haven't fallen in love with each other. Look further down on the cover. People Magazine, you're a big tease.

I saw that too! Isn't that the funniest fucking thing? Those whackjobs at People. :D

I really detest that magazine in the first place--not on principle, but because I have no interest in the lives of celebrities. Let me have my artists without their real-life baggage interrupting my enjoyment of their art. I recognize that that makes me the weirdo.

Heh, I'm glad I'm not the only weirdo, then.

And my initial reaction to that cover was exactly the same! I bet they did it intentionally. It's so obvious, really. ;-)

Isn't it more fun to watch movies when you know zippo about the actor's personal lives? I totally think so.

you posted what i thought the other day when i saw that. the people behind me in line at the store bumped into me while i stared. ...then i saw the glossy teeth of the plastic bitches below (not that the men aren't plastic too) and realized.

From: [identity profile] amanuensis1.livejournal.com
We all did that, didn't we? We stopped dead in the store and stared! And then sighed with disappointment.

it could have been the only 'people' issue ever to be interesting, in any way!

Hee! I got that issue and cracked up, then showed it to my daughter.

if you are right, then they did it on purpose to sell magazines. which means the idea of george cloony and matthew mcconaughey naked in bed together sells magazines. to ordinary americans. whoa...

I love doing that because anyone who finds that morally offensive is usually someone I don't like and whose horizons need broadening anyway. :D Yes, I know it's more complicated than that but right now I'm boiling it down that simply, yes I am.

Wonder what's up with that - usually I jump on the tiniest possibility of slashy goodness.
