The fact that Torchwood made mpreg canon in the first four minutes of the first episode makes me forgive a hell of a lot. :D As you say, its portrayal of a bisexually-normative universe makes it unique on television. It's fun, it has trashy monsters (Cybergirl with tits, Amy?) and it has really superb moments of emotional complexity as well. I'm delighted that it's gone to a second season, as well. And now I can use my icon without spoiling you!
