avengerkink with your newly opened wave; it really is like the Fuh-Q-Fests all over again, with me reading and alternately laughing, O_O -ing, and realizing, "...okay I totally want to write that for that person."
I find myself actually debating whether to post fills as myself or anonymously. I just discovered there's a term for being keen on the hurt part of hurt/comfort--whump, it's called--and wayyyy too many of those prompts are appealing to me. I might want to write more than one of those. With, like, the same characters. And that's feeling a little embarassing. IT'S A KINKMEME FOR CRIPES' SAKES, WHY COY NOW.

Date: 2012-05-17 09:35 pm (UTC)Personally, I like the anon-ness of it all, and think there is something just a bit freeing about posting and responses when it's all anon. And then to have the best of both worlds, you can post the fic in your lj or on AO3 afterwards (and leave a "reveal" link at the end of the story in the kinkmeme so people just discovering you can now follow you writerly exploits etc etc)
Don't think anyone will complain either way though. I feel like there isn't enough ultra-dirty fic in the fandom yet. Well, is there ever? But maybe you know what I mean? I'm remembering SPN and HP which had noncon bestiality demon incest as pretty mattter-of-course, so maybe most fandoms are going to seem a little tame to me.

It's like a masquerade ball... complete with final reveal (or sometimes the accidental early reveal! or the "Who is this beautiful stranger? Aha now that I know their name, I shall
woofollow them!" Of course, for people who don't want to wade though 500 stories to get to yours, it's handy if you're nonanon.Ha, I really don't have a huge pref, though. Except that I want to read what you're writing, so at some point in the process, it'd be cool if you connected it with your handle.

Date: 2012-05-18 02:54 pm (UTC)I found an artist who draws the filthiest, bloodiest Clint/Loki...it breaks my heart because it hits all my kink buttons but her Hawkeye looks more like Martin Freeman than Jeremy Renner, which puts my head on sideways ("when did Loki brainwash John Watson??")...but oh my god the kink buttons. There's bondage with ARROWS.

And this being me, it slid quickly sideways into total assholery and mindfucking. Which, now that I think about it, that last sentence is actually just a total lie, because if I was going to write Howard/Bucky, what are the chances it wouldn't end up being completely badtouch?
