Know why I never post on fandomsecrets? I like sharing my shame.

From the trailer, I wanted rather badly to see this film:

...and then I learned the one on the right is not a boy. Now I'm no longer interested.

Migod, could I get any more shallow.

That movie is amazing.

So lots of people are saying! I've got it on my Netflix list now (at the top).

Another reason why I love you so much. You are unapologetically shallow ♥

Well, I'm apologizing for being shallow, but I'm not, like, genuinely planning to change or anythin'. :D

The Lelouch eye rape scene is still the hottest thing ever but the Kuroshitsuji one was full of major yummeh too. I had to! :D

Ok, I gotta admit, the fact that one of the characters being a girl makes you want to see the movie less, kinda freaks me out. I know, I know, slashers and the boys, but I think Hollywood pretends that women don't exist enough anyways, without us helping them out.

Never mind. I read one of your earlier comments and I think I get it now. I'm still a little depressed, but I get it.

Yes, if they'd both been girls, it would have been just as appealing. I do know what you mean about Hollywood and women.

I saw it today and it was fucking amazing.

I disagree entirely with the commenter who described Oskar, the protagonist, as selfish, however. He's not at all - he's a lonely, bullied little boy who has a dark desire for revenge against those who have hurt him.

But it is a lot like the basic premise of Twilight, except a fuckload better - and it was written a year or two before Twilight, which makes it feel even more like a victory.

I saw it too and I did like it! I made a teensy post about it after this one.
