Am curious to see who will bite. Anyone who wants to ask my characters questions, a la the meme that's going around, is invited to do so. I remain healthily skeptical just because I think my characters say too much sometimes, and you have likely had quite enough of them, for any given story. Or, alternatively, I have set them up to make all of you have a "Shut up and just SHAG!" response, given that you guys come here for the smut. ^_^

There. Take a look.
She's really pretty in that picture, isn't she? One of the few times I got her to stay clean for more than two minutes.
Lucius didn't act like he cared if she was clean when he was holding her, which surprised me. I never knew kids could ooze, so much. See-- what she's holding, what she's got in her mouth-- Lucius said it was a cabochon ruby, and he said no daughter of his was going to teethe on plastic muggle toys, no indeed.
I look worried though. Sirius took the picture before Lucius told me he'd measured the stone and said it was too big for her to choke on it.
Don't worry, the picture's got a concealment spell on it. No one but me-- and Sirius-- can see it.
Which is good, because I take it out and look at it a lot.
...And she's really fond of that ruby.

I make people cry.
Grrrrr.

Date: 2003-08-03 06:32 pm (UTC)Thank you so very much for sharing that picture with me.
Your daughter's beautiful, which I'm sure you already know. I'm so delighted to know that she was able to see her other father, and, while it doesn't change anything, well, it's not every little girl who gets to teeth on a precious stone. Nor is it every little girl who has two fathers who so obviously love her so deeply.
Please pass on to your friend Amanuensis my gratitude for the ticket to visit you, and add that if I had any graphics skills, I would second the motion that she be made an icon bearing the inscription "I make people cry."
Additionally, I would be grateful if you could pass along my regards to your daughter, Lucius, Sirius, Sevvie, and Rugrat, as well as my deep affection and best wishes.
Humbly and weeping,
Nutmeg
