I'm working on the fic recs part of my website, and wondering what to do when I have an author who has a number of stories I want to recommend. Or who I just think is one of those "Oh, just go read everything s/he's ever done!" authors. Or if s/he writes great drabble fics. I wanted to do it by individual stories, but it might be more practical to give those sorts of authors their own little section instead.
And you know what I've decided?
Screw practical!
This is not some "you can only nominate so many" thing, this is MY site! YEAH! *jumps around, power-drunk*
*flips V-sign at practical*
If you wrote six stories, all of which are so good I have to recommend them side by side with other top stories that I'm recommending, then dammit, YOU'RE GETTING SIX RECS! You damn well DESERVE it! Whether you blew me away with a drabble or a 500K epic, your story is getting a LINE OF ITS OWN! Because it SHOULD.
There might also be a "authors whose works would not REMOTELY be a waste of your time if you sat down and decided to read them all" section, but those stories that hit me hard will still get their own recs!
And that is what I have to say about that. ^_^
