Let's see, what really funny stories did I encounter recently?

Well, first of all, if you're a fan of "Once More, With Feeling" (the Buffy musical), you must run right now and read [livejournal.com profile] maybethemoon's HP version of it. Yes, I know, it's been done before, but trust me, Moony knows not only how to do parody/pastiche (her casting choices are superb; I love how substituting Snape/Lockhart for Tara/Willow lets that whole memory charm thing parallel beautifully), but she can FILK, too! ("I'm under your spell./Flying like a broom/Maybe we should get a room?") Go here...

[livejournal.com profile] sloanesomething wrote Cutting the Cake, which should have you scaring the neighbors laughing. The lunatic backstage view of James and Lily's wedding. Features kick-arse-and-take-no-prisoners Lily (“Don’t. Fuck. With the bride.”) and I will never forget that kitchen scene. Go here...

And this would take you three minutes tops, to read, except at the second paragraph I had to lie on the floor and howl and howl for quite some time before I could get up and resume reading this short little parody. Harry Has Two Godfathers, wry and clever as hell and not-a-set-of-dry-britches-left-in-the-house-hilarious. Go here...

It was the "acting funny at certain times of the month" that killed me completely.

Me, that is cleaning the house for Albus's arrival and Sirius' remark for that collar and chain.

Now, you got me laughing again.

*laughs* I've read "Harry Has Two Godfathers" before, but that that didn't stop me from rereading it - and cracking up when Snape shows up at the PRIDE parade! ^^;

So much about that story makes me lose it. I love the bit about Dumbledore always knowing everything even when people try to hide it...
