Just a word to say, it's been a month and a bit, so, I'm going to stop cutting for Half-Blood Prince spoilers after this. I just finished my second "read-through"--actually the audiobook experience--and when I get inspired to put together a few more comments, it'll likely be without cut-tags. Those of you who are saving the book to read later, I empathize, remembering that's exactly what I did with GoF--but, hey, you aren't likely to be the people who are hanging around my lj to read smutfic, are you?

Oy, you wouldn't have a digital copy of said audiobook for sale/trade?

No, I'm sorry! I just have it on CD and have no plans to convert it to digital anytime soon.

Not that this has anything to do with your post, but I just read your "A Spell to Turn Tigers to Butter" piece. I had the text saved on my computer from a long time ago; I just hadn't read it until tonight when I was cleaning out my files. I had to google search to find out where I could contact you to tell you just how much I loved that piece. It was beautiful and, to tell the truth, rather funny. Oh, how I love your calculating!Harry.

Oh, you dear thing, thank you! That was one of those stories that just wrote itself. ^_^ And your icon's giving me major giggles.

I need to post on the audiobook too. I've been listening and then I skipped to the end because I wanted to hear the tower scene and see if Snape's, Draco's or Dumbledore's voices were different from their standards...

There's interesting things about that tower scene on audiobook, oh, yeah.

Oh, will you post about that at some point, please? I've only read the book and I'm dying to know more about those interesting things in the audio version. :)

I have no problem with that. Of course I've read it already [grin] but I think a month is long enough. I always eyeroll when I see people posting SPOILER!!! warnings for movies and books that came out in the '90s, you know? :P

There's a lot of difficulty with that, isn't there? I find that when I'm dealing with a piece of fiction where there's a real impact with the ending, I'm reluctant to just blurt out the whole story without warning for spoilers first, no matter how old the text/film/etc. But of course, with HP, my lj is devoted primarily to that, so, if people are here, I'm assuming they're HP fans and have read the books.
