*hugs you* I am so sorry you feel so down! Well, the story was meant to provoke a sense of "and it does just keep going on"--Harry's remembering one of the lowest points in his life. It's also written that way because that's the sort of non-ending I like to see in this kind of dark evil erotica. Which is definitely not for everyone!

Yes I understood this story in this way. And it leaves me to speculate, whether Snape was brought to the point of no return by Voldemort or if Harry was just wrong about his 'disciplinary principles'. This ambiguity of Snape's intentions is really well written.

I just can't join the cheering crowd, who find this story hot and thrilling.
