When he took off his Sweetheart Locket (I will always call it that) and tucked it into his boot at the beginning I was muttering, "Now, what's all that about?", and watching him play that plotline out in his Deep Paranoia Question mode was when I started feeling, "Hey, there's an actual character in there, yay!"
