Attraction to Renner is one of those things I don't try to explain--I saw him in The Hurt Locker and barely noticed what he looked like, but then I saw that glimpse of him as Hawkeye in Thor and something about him eclipsed even Chris Hemsworth for me, which is saying something; I'd been drooling over Hemsworth for the entire preceding hour of that film. I know there are a lot of "but he's so ordinary!" and "but he's pug-ugly!" reactions out there and I don't try to refute them. Can't explain it.
