Code Geass Halloween Pumpkin

Another Halloween pumpkin! Code Geass this time.

Lelouch was sad that he didn't get a pumpkin. So I made him one. ^_^




This was the original picture.



Notice the eye is open wider than in the pumpkin version--if I hadn't changed it the iris would have been floating in space, and you can't have that. After playing with the brightness and the contrast in Photoshop Elements, I used the shadow on the eye to define the upper eyelid and thus anchor the iris.



And then, again, a little work with a black marker.

It's good if you start with the little instruments they give you in those cheapo carving kits you find in the drugstores! Very little sharp stuff involved.

Oh, thanks for the advice :3. I never tried carving before, Halloween is not celebrated much here where I live, although my friends and I do and we want to try carving a pumpkin one day ^^.

Thanks! That one was a store-bought pattern; I carved it last year. ^_^

This one's the most complicated store-bought one that I've done.
