I used to say "AH-chee-oh" because it looked Italian but then Jim Dale said "AH-see-oh" so I changed and now Movie!Harry says "AH-kee-oh."
I've always said "AH-kee-oh" and "CRU-kee-oh" simply because of the whole Latin thing. My ex bf studied Latin once upon a time, and he'd said ages ago that 'c' is always pronounced as 'k' in classical Latin, so I went with that, naturally. *g* I've always been more 'bwuh?' about the "CRU-see-oh" because of the inconsistency in pronounciation of the 'c's. ;-) Erm... yeah.
Am reading loads of reviews of GoF in the hopes that I'll have a more positive mindset for it than I did for PoA. I'll probably go see GoF in a few days, if I can.
