YES! to everything you said.

I loved how NOTHING WAS SPARKLY in the graveyard. The dark mark on Wormtail's arm didn't glow. The Morsmordre wasn't green and sparkly. Everything was just black on black. No pretty magic until we got to the PI.

i was thinking that too. the darkness was great. but i was also thinking, "wow. the dark mark is huge. and moving."

and yeah, i was longing to see severus's dark mark. and to hear dumbledore say "remember cedric diggory" (that speech he makes is one of the only times i ever really loved dumbledore) and "lie low at lupin's". but alas.

also, i loved how the entire movie was really geared toward those who had actually read the books. i went with my friend who really knows nothing about harry potter, and she was confused in a lot of places.
